Our Story
Hi, I’m Anna - a full time mom, full time nurse, chai latte reheater, chaos coordinator and the heart behind The Triplet Shift.
Life changed fast when I went from mom of little girl to becoming a mom of four overnight with triplets. Suddenly, my world became a mix of bottles, schedules, sleep deprivation, pumping sessions, endless laundry and trying to rememebr if I already reheated my morning chai three times. Somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, I realized something: there weren’t enough honest conversations about what life actually looks like.
I wanted to create this blog to share the real size of motherhood - especially life with triplets, toddlers and everything in between. The beautiful moments, the overwhelming ones, the funny stories, survival tips, and the routines that keep the family functioning (most days).
As a nurse, I naturally love helping and educating others, especially new moms. As a mom, I also understand how isolating and exhausting parenting can feel sometimes - especially when you’re trying to keep everyone else afloat while also finding yourself again.
With this blog I want to share honest motherhood stories, real conversations about pregnancy, fertility, NICU life, and the mental load all this can have. Here you will also find organization tips, simple routines, and our favorite items! Most days you can find me in scrubs, leggings, or running through target with a Starbucks in hand while trying to remember who still needs a snack.
I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re a fellow triplet parent, a tired mom looking for solidarity, or someone trying to simplify life and enjoy time with your kids - welcome.
